I've been playing rogue like games for years now, and I can tell this is one of the BEST.
It has a perfect battle system and well built skill trees.
Something that I would like to see is a town, some NPCs and a story mode somehow.
And also an HD version for steam, different clothes for the mages, etc.
So far it is PERFECT.
I bet the game for the first time after a few days, around 30th try. The game is hard, but it is fair and worth it.
I'm buying steam version and hope for improvement (if is there something to improve...because it is already awesome!).

Thank you very much! Hope you enjoy continue to enjoy the updates on steam :)

As per town, npc's and story, that's going to have to wait for a future project. I'm focusing all of my efforts for this game on just getting the combat, character building, and dungeon / enemies as refined as possible. Any time that's left over is being devoted to polish, interface improvements, graphics and stuff like leader boards and better stat tracking.

On the plus side, when I do get around to doing a more expansive game w/ the stuff you mentioned, all of these mechanics should be really solid at that point.

Funny game.

Great game, but the QR code thing doesn't work. Even trying to figure out for myself, the first was easy but the second one was impossible. At least make something easy for the first levels.

Wolod responds:

Thanks for the feedback! There are only 3 floors, so there's not much space for a smoother difficulty curve. I tested QR codes readability with built-in scanner on my xiaomi phone and it worked fine. I'll try to help you to solve second puzzle. Alternative hints look like little square holes on the floor. There are 12 blue symbols in the second puzzle, just like the quantity of the rooms on the floor. Use these hints and you'll solve it in no time.

Well...I just finished the game.
As everyone said below, it gets repetitive and boring in the shadow lands (even in the green lands).
But in the beginning, it is quite creative and cool. And it should keep like that (somehow).
After 1 month doing the same things, you finish it...and for the haters: what exactly did you expect from a game called "IDLE Dungeon Master"? Idle = Lazy, Vagrant. So it is what it is, most of time you are AFK. The game is fair, it gives you what is meant to be, and not a SUPER INTERACTIVE thing that most people request.

Well, I have some advices to give:
-Upgrade your goblins to max first, after that, just stay afk.
-Get all medals from research in the beginning (clicking it), because you max it early in the game, and have no opportunity to click for yourself later.
-Upgrade to max you assassins and firewalkers, because they are the only units that lasts in the shadow lands. Only assassins keeps killing Heroes...and so, only firewalkers keep killing the sorcerers.

I loved the game, the retro graphs, and the soundtrack.

I really enjoy it. Everything is high quality!

Thanks for your comment that's good vibes to us! :)

Great concept and art.

Really lovely game, 10/10.

Great game my friend, it would be even better with real rpg elements.

I really like the concept and the retro art itself, it would be nice if you add more elements, this game is on the right path.

Amazing game, really cool. Was it inspired in Risk of Rain? I'm a big fan.
